Cayhouse in the backWhether it is fishing, boat trips to the cays, jungle trips, freshwater cave tours, horseback riding, whale shark safaris, kayaking or water skiing, there is always someone in Utila to accomodate you.

You can visit the Iguana Station and see the Utila Swamper Iguana (found only on Utila). Worth to see is also Gunter’s Driftwood Gallery. See Dr. Kurt Halverson, an acupuncturist and chiropractor, for your health.

Whenever you´re hungry you can also choose from a large variety of restaurants and bars. Here are a few:

Jade Seahorse Restaurant, which offers you both seafood and vegetarian dishes.

Munchies, quick light meals and special island dishes in a nice atmosphere. There is an iguana garden behind the house.

Bundu Café, with a good selection of coffee, quick light meals and a book exchange.

The Island Café, good local style food.

Thompsons Bakery, popular brakfast place, famous for cinnamon rolls.

Delany´s Kitchen, good pizza and lasagna.

Neptuno Restaurant, with a good selection of pizza, lasagna, salads, seafood and vegetarian meals.

The Mango Restaurant has the best Italian pizza and the biggest menu of all the restaurants. The Mango is many people´s favorite.

Kate, the Italian chefIf you prefer to dine at home, we can arrange for an Italian chef (Kate) to prepare meals on the premises, if you´d like to enjoy the most wonderful meals on the island (highly recommended).

Bar in the Bush opens every Friday night. This is the hot spot for the locals and tourists alike. Well worth a visit.

Coco Loco the most popular bar, perched on a jetty over the water. While having your drink, you can see the tropical night sky and look for falling stars.

The Treetanic Bar built as a boat up in the trees is a nice spot to relax at night.
