How to get hereUtila is easily reached by plane or boat. Both leaving from La Ceiba, a small town of the coast of Honduras, 18 miles from Utila. By plane: The flights between Utila and La Ceiba take about 12 minutes. There are three airlines: Atlantic Airlines, Aero Lineas Sosa and Isleña. A ticket is approximately $13.50 USD one way. When you arrive on the island by plane, we will pick you up. By boat: The MV Galaxy II is a comfortable, air-conditioned ferry. It leaves La Ceiba at 9:30 am and arrives in Utila at 10:30 am. A ticket for one person is $11 USD. The boat operates from the Muelle de Cabotaje, which is a 10-minutes drive (8km) east of town. Taxis will transport you for $2 USD. If you arrive from La Ceiba on the boat, you will find the Cayhouse just a 5- minute walk away. From the dock turn left and continue walking until you come to the Methodist Church on the left side of the street. Take the small bridge over to the Cayhouse. We can also arrange transportation.
